Project Purley is hosting a trip to historic Sulgrave Manor on Tuesday 21st May.\u00a0 Travel is being organised by coach from Purley, and there are still a few places available.\u00a0 The cost is \u00a335.50, including entry to the house.\u00a0 Contact Jean Chudleigh to book a place – jeanchudleigh@btinternet.com.<\/p>\n
Sulgrave Manor is in Oxfordshire, a few miles East of Banbury, and about 60 miles North of Purley.\u00a0 The travel time will be about 1.5 hours each way.\u00a0 We shall also have an opportunity to visit the 13th century Sulgrave Church, which has links to the Washington family, and have lunch at the Star Inn.<\/p>\n
